FISHING

The Wawa area is excellent for its walleye, pike, brook trout and lake trout fishing. Walleye and pike are located primarily in the north part of the district and brook trout in the south. Lake trout are scattered throughout the area. Fishing Licenses must be obtained.They can be obtained at Young's General Store as well as other locations in Wawa.

HUNTING
Here at Kinniwabi Pines we offer excellent accommodation in the heart of the hunting area. Our area is one of the largest bear areas in the province of Ontario. The area is surrounded by 4 parks and the largest crown game preserve in the word. The area is managed by Rick & Darleen Dickson. They will have all the answers to your questions.

GOLFING
Enjoy a relaxing day of golf at the Michipicoten Golf Club. Nine holes, driving range and licensed Clubhouse. Clubs and pull cart rentals are available. The course is normally opened to the public May 13 to October 13.
